Barbara Chapple, daughter of Charles J. Chapple, was engaged to Jack M. Buckhouse of St. Ignatius April 22, 1939. They married on May 17, 1939 at St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Miss Chappie was a graduate of Montana
State University at Missoula. Worked at the Children's hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital in Philadelphia (her father worked there and invented the incubator). Jack M. was a wild game conservationist in western Montana in 1939.
