She was born in Ontario, Canada, in May, 1856. The wife of Dr. Dennis M. Parker, Jennie L. Parker was the daughter of William & Catherine Cardwell. She came to Montana in November, 1882 and was married in 1885 or January, 13, 1886. She was the sister of Edward Cardwell. Member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Dr. D M Parker was the first medical doctor in Coulson and Billings - See Capitalism on the Frontier by Van West. He died in 1889 and was buried in Mountview Cemetery. She died on August 28, 1939 - See Local Pioneer Dies Monday, Billings Gazette, August 29, 1939.
