Genre (Short List)
This report is an effort to pull together data indicating the extent of the resources of the Blackfeet Reservation and surrounding area. The study area includes Glacier, Pondera, and Toole Counties. This area is primarily agricultural and has very little economic or industrial development. Population, income, education and other factors have been considered to demonstrate the social needs of the area. Production and population trends were considered in the study. Each type of resource was evaluated separately to determine what its potential was in the overall development possibilities. An attempt has been made to point out some of the specific needs and pitfalls that will likely be encountered as development is undertaken.
