Palmer Mountain is visible in the background. Two tramways can be seen in the center left, they are both leading to the Revenue Stamp Mill, commonly referred to as the Red Mill. The tramway to the left (or uphill) was a gravity tramway; while the lower tramway to the right was a horse tram. The Revenue Stamp Mill consisted of a 40-stamp operation.
