The Lewistown Brewery just south of Lewistown was built by in 1894 by John Laux. It was built with locally quarried sandstone. A wooden fence is in the foreground of the photo with two signs on the fence that say ""CULVER'S MILLINERY"". The southeast half is a two-story stone structure and the northwest half is a one story concrete block addition that houses storage and loading/unloading functions.
