Born June 6, 1850 in Summerfield, Ohio. Arrived in Billings, August 6, 1882, about the time the train arrives. A City Attorney. Died November 20, 1927 after being hit by a car by the Library on November 11. Son is Roscoe F. Allen, a mining engineer In California; and two daughters, Pattie Allen, a teacher In the local schools and Mrs. Bernard Kesselhelm of Billings (1927). Brother of WA Allen, the dentist.
