Born July 30, 1866. Married Sarah Love Crampton. Son-in-law of Mrs. R B Crampton. Ranched and settled on Blue Creek. On Blue Creek School Board & Midland Empire Fair Board. Died 1929, buried in Mountainview Cemetery. On September 13, 1914 Nate Cooper and Gib Cothron, ranchers from south of the Yellowstone River, agreed to provide 1,000 horses to the Biritsh Army for World War I.
