He was the son of Dr. John H. Frost, a Union surgeon during the Civil War, and Strong Face, part-blood Indian woman. Worked for rancher, Tom Kent. Attended Carlisle Indian School. Went to Washington DC with Plenty Coups during the dedication of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Wife was Mary Amelia.
