Worked on Northern Pacific railroad survey crew fin 1881. Listed as a rancher and merchant from Laurel who operated a general store - born in 1859 or 1860. Died in 1947 in Billings after returning from living in California for several years - See Pioneer dies in hospital, Billings Gazette, July 25, 1947.
