George Griggs was a charter member of the Billings Municipal Band in 1884. On the city's first bowling team in 1902 - See Bowling, Like Topsy, Billings Gazette, April 5, 1942. George A. Griggs moved to Butte in 1904 to work in the new Yegen Brothers Bank on West Park Street. Mrs. Griggs was involved with the Montana State Federation of Women's Clubs and attended the meeting in Billings in October, 1908.
