Amelia's husband, Billings' Police Sergeant Robert T. Hannah, was killed in the line of duty in July, 1904. He was killed during a robbery at the Owl Saloon in downtown Billings. His name is on the Mavity Law Enforcement Memorial in front of City Hall. Daughter Margaret married E.C. Spurling in 1912. Amelia died in February, 1943 and is buried at Mountview Cemetery.
