George A. Pyle came to Montana in 1884. He married Ruby Oct 30, 1909 - she was the first women barber in town on Minnesota Avenue. They homesteaded on Spring Creek. In 1934 he was a farmer on the Billings Bench (Heights). In 1940 he was a printer. Later they lived in Billings. He died September 4, 1955 and was buried at Mountview Cemetery.
