Looking northeast across the Clark Fork River into Milltown and Bonner and up into Blackfoot River Valley. Milltown is in the foreground with two bridges crossing the Blackfoot River at Milltown near the confluence of the Blackfoot and Clark Fork Rivers. The Blackfoot River runs just west of Milltown and Bonner, and the Clark Fork River is in the foreground. The photograph was taken before construction of I-90. The current highway bridge may be under construction between Railroad bridge and Old County Bridge. The west bank at the mouth of the Blackfoot is not visible. The mill and a teepee burner with smoke rising from the burner can be seen in Bonner. Photo caption reads: Early aerial view of Bonner and Milltown. McCormick Hill in foreground and remnants of Old Mullan Trail leading up from the Clark Fork River.
