Description
Studio portrait of John W. and Alice [Trumbo] Parker, c. 1900. After marrying in 1885 the Parkers worked in their native California with John managing a general store as well as working with citrus farms. The Parkers came to Montana in 1898 and homesteaded on Antelope Creek west of Roscoe. John Parker became the county's first assessor when it was created.
