Description
Composite of studio portraits of James L. and Mary C. (Terwilliger) Selkirk. Originally from Albany, New York, Selkirk trained at Albany Medical College and established a full-time practice and clinic at Voorheesville, New York. He married in 1887. In 1910 he purchased the Heart Bar L Ranch at the mouth of Fiddler Creek in Stillwater County, and with his boys, Mark and Ralph, developed the largest registered Hereford ranch in the area.
