Invitation to the ninth annual New Year's Eve ball hosted by the Montana Club. This was the first "smoker" to be held in the new Montana Club building, designed by Cass Gilbert and finished in 1905. The invitation includes the message, "The Board of Governors of the Montana Club extends to you the right hand of good fellowship, with a cordial invitation, to attend the Ninth Annual Smoker to be held at the New Club House."
